George Clooney and Sarah Larson split

George Clooney has split up with his girlfriend of alomost a year, neither of the couple would comment on why.

Sarah met Clooney, 47, while he was celebrating his birthday several years ago at the Green Valley Ranch in Vegas.

The couple got together last June when the actor returned to Vegas for the premiere of Ocean’s Thirteen.

In September 2007, George Clooney was driving a motorbike that crashed, Sarah Larson was a passenger and injured her foot. George reassured press about Sarah’s condition after the crash saying “she’s fine, despite her broken toe and a black eye”. “We are hiding it with makeup, It looks like I socked her a couple times.”

Sarah Larson found it difficult dating the Hollywood star. Sarah accompanied George to the Oscars last February. On the red carpet she told Access Hollywood that dating such a well known man was great, but she occasionally wanted to escape the glare of being in the spotlight.

“Yeah, for the most part,” she said when asked whether she had gotten used to dating the star. “Every now and then I run away and escape and hide for a few weeks.”
