Richard Nicoll’s use of bright, crisp colours on his catwalk collection for spring/summer 09, has made a massive impact within the industry. Now Richard Nicoll has launched his ready to wear collection for this season and the public seem to be just as entranced with his designs.

Richard was born in London and grew up in Australia which shows in his clothes with clean cut shapes with bright eye catching colours.

Richards fashion credits include working at Louis Vuitton and he has been voted best young designer in the Elle style awards. He started his career making unisex clothes, and is a firm beliver in mixing high street in with high end garments. Richard has dressed some of the top celebrities including Kylie, Sofia Coppola and Bjork.

This dress from his collection has already been reproduced for the high street and is a best seller for some of the top high street chains.

Richard has also used one of the best models found in Australia’s Next Top Model, Alice Burdeu is one of the most successfull contestants since winning the TV show.

Expect to see much more of this talented young designer in 2009, both in the fashion mags and on the high street.

Super-Spoiled Paris Hilton has landed in London for the launch of her new reality TV show for ITV.

Paris’ fashion sense has taken a massive downturn, she should have made an effort with her look. Paris wore an entire outfit (which is amazing enough in itself) with her name printed on everything, is this another crappy celebrity range that i will ignore, probably.

Victoria Hesketh, stage name Little Boots, has spoken out about internet bullies who called her fat and minging - not that it really matters to her now.

Victoria has told press that when her videos went on YouTube people said some ‘really vulgar sexual stuff’ about her.

She continued, ’stuff abot me being fat and minging and a shit singer and musician and a fucking bitch and a slag, people saying they wanted to rape me.’

Victoria, 25, started her career on YouTube in 2008, just one year she has gone from internet sensation to chart topper.

Annie Hardy, of Giant Drag fame, has been voted NME’s sexiest women, beating the likes of Cheryl Cole and Katy Perry.

Many voters chose her as their number one because of her song writing skills.

Annie, 27, hasn’t been on the scene much in the last few years, which has made people question as to why she has been voted this years sexiest woman.

Noel Fielding has told Metro, that he was the first person to make the smart/emo/goth look into fashion. Noel has also said in Metro that Russell Brand has copied his signature look.

Noel made his big break in 1997, when his stand up comedy routine gave him the edge for Radio and TV success. Russell started his career as an MTV presenter and stand up comedien, and made it big in the public domain when he presented the first few series of Big Brother’s Big Mouth in 2004.

The pair used to get on - on TV at least - on Channel 4’s Big Fat Quiz of the Year.

Noel, 35, is apparantly is fed up of being mistaken for Russell Brand, 33, and is now hitting back - this might have somthing to do with Russell making a very big splash in the money pool of America’s movie market.

Russell Brands style is best described as Byronic or Dickensian with a Pirate twist, while Noel has always seemed to me to be more of a cyber-goth/glam rock kind of guy, much more interesting.

Noel told Metro, ‘I have had this look long before he came out’ he continued that russell had ‘borrowed’ his style.

Noel Fielding shouldn’t worry about being mistaken for Russell Brand, from a fashion point of view, they have very different styles.

There is no competition in my eyes, Russell Brand is sexier (but seriously, who would shag him now?) Noel Fielding is definitly the more fashionable and exciting style wise.

At least Noel has an entire wardrobe of clothes and different looks, Russell Brand hasn’t changed his style since 2004.
