Summer is almost here and any festival go-er knows that the weather in England is never a ’sure thing’ so make sure you get your hands on some of the most stylish (and usefull) footwear for this season.
If your after some young, girlie patterned wellies, then these cute designs should keep you looking stylish even when wadeing through fields.
If you are determined not to wear wellies, then these waterproof boots are of a personal recomendation. I love my pair, they have seen me through many cold and wet festivals and are amazingly still in good condition.
Not all wellies make you look like a farmer, these rain boots are a true ‘find’ they will keep your legs dry in comfort, they look stylish and will elongate your legs giving you a sleek and slim look.
Feeling the winter blues? brighten up your spring with these Ralph Lauren rain boots.
Some people feel lost at festivals, sometimes it’s harder to stand out, if you want to catch a cute ravers eye then these Cow Boots are a great conversation starter.
REMEMBER - must be worn with personality!
This season is all about the basics that should be in any womans wardrobe, a classic, good quality, silk dress will take you through many seasons and years to come.
Every woman is different and so is silk, you can buy sturdy long lasting silk or a much softer barely there silk which is perfect for sexier garments.
Nothing in my wardrobe makes me feel more girlie than my favourite silk dress, the quality of the fabric combined with the soft texture makes silk by far my favourite fabric to work with, and this seasons catwalks were draped with beautifull silk dresses.
Richard Nicoll’s use of bright, crisp colours on his catwalk collection for spring/summer 09, has made a massive impact within the industry. Now Richard Nicoll has launched his ready to wear collection for this season and the public seem to be just as entranced with his designs.
Richard was born in London and grew up in Australia which shows in his clothes with clean cut shapes with bright eye catching colours.
Richards fashion credits include working at Louis Vuitton and he has been voted best young designer in the Elle style awards. He started his career making unisex clothes, and is a firm beliver in mixing high street in with high end garments. Richard has dressed some of the top celebrities including Kylie, Sofia Coppola and Bjork.
This dress from his collection has already been reproduced for the high street and is a best seller for some of the top high street chains.
Richard has also used one of the best models found in Australia’s Next Top Model, Alice Burdeu is one of the most successfull contestants since winning the TV show.
Expect to see much more of this talented young designer in 2009, both in the fashion mags and on the high street.
Christina Aguilera may be designing a clothes range for Topshop. Topshop boss Sir Philip Green has been desperate for Christina to create a collection for his high street chain.
A source close to Sir Philip, who is ‘relaxing’ in the Caribbean, claims he, “loves her style and believes she would add something new to Topshop.”
Apparently, he thinks, “Christina is the blonde bombshell who is into pop whereas Kate is the rock chick and model” and “she’d appeal to a younger shopper more than Kate.”
Kate Moss has had unbelivable success with her Topshop collection, with crazed shoppers trampling each other just to get hold of her collection when it went on sale.
