Hayden Panettiere has walked off the set of the hit TV show Heroes after she accused a crew member of being cruel to birds.

The 19-year-old actress was enraged when the worker used a lawn-blower to scare some birds out of a nearby tree after they disturbed filming.

Hayden is said to have shouted: “What are you doing? How would you like someone to blow that thing inside your house?”

She defended the birds by insisting they were only flying in front of the camera to get back to their nest in the tree.

It is reported that Hayden made such a fuss the director eventually decided to move the scene to a new location.

For any girl out there thinking short hair looks less feminin than long hair, feel the relief when you see Hayden Panettierre and her cute new hair cut.

There were rumours that Milo Ventimiglia and Hayden Panettierre had split up, but they’re not true.

When the Heroes coupe arrived at a celebrity event last week an onlooker said, “they arrived together, they were cuddling, they were very cute.”

So when did they get back together?

“The never really broke up,” Said a friend of Milo,

They continued, “She’s a flirt and he’s fun and I guess that’s what gets people to talking. But Milo really likes her. Likes her, her family, and they have a ton of fun together. Even if they were to stop dating, they’d still be good friends,”

Hayden Panettiere has come out of a few months of laying low so she can work on her album - currently due to be released later this year - but for now is the cover girl for the June/July 2008 issue of Teen Vogue.

Hayden had alot to say in the interview.

On her fashion sense: “I have the same sense of style that I did when I was growing up, but now I wear things that I might not have when I was younger, because I’m much more comfortable with my body. I’m definitely a jeans and tee shirt girl. I dress down and comfy whenever I can, which makes dressing up more exciting. I really like to look polished. I love pencil skirts and flirty dresses – but I’m not picky when it comes to designers; I could find something great to wear from French Connection or Gucci. I have a lot of fun dressing up and deciding what kind of look I want to go for depending on the event.”

The Life Aquatic: While we were shooting in Malibu, California, a sea lion showed up on the beach. Channeling her Heroes superhuman persona, Hayden ran to the rescue: She called 911 and the ASPCA, who assured her that the occurrence was perfectly normal. After a few minutes, the sea lion waddled back into the water on its own

American Fashion: Hayden loved the patriotically colored dresses we had on set; she even borrowed a few for upcoming events! She rocked a red Laila Azhar at Nickelodeon’s 2008 Kids’ Choice Awards and wore a navy Peter Hidalgo to the Genesis Awards (a ceremony that honors celebrities involved in promoting animal rights).

Hayden on tabloid press: “In Hollywood, there is no such thing as being a nice girl. Or being, you know, not messed up. If you’re not, they’ll make you that way.”

On Fame: “You feel like you’re in a goldfish bowl. Nothing is private, and when they write about you, it’s almost always completely false. I’ve never been pregnant, I’ve never moved in with somebody. There was a story about somebody giving me a ring that had “Sweet Like Hayden” engraved on it, and that person was like, ‘Eww, I would never give you that.’ And I was like, ‘I wouldn’t take that!’”

Hayden on Heroes Co star and boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia: “I’ll not comment until the day I die. I’m going to be married and I’ll be like, ‘I don’t know who you’re talking about. Who?’”

On the success of Heroes: “It shakes you up. It’s like they flip your life upside down. But it’s opened tremendous doors for me.”

On animal rights: “The show put me in a place to speak for things that I’m passionate about. The footage we got [facing off with Japanese fisherman] really made an impact on people.”

On the paparazi: “I play a game with myself. If I get angry or make a nasty face, they win, because that’s exactly what they want. I just keep my head up, my eyes down, my mouth shut, a pleasant look on my face, and I keep walking and hope that eventually they’ll get bored.”

Hayden has recently seemed to have droped her all-American sweet as pie teen image in favour of a more sexual and provocative one. Long term friend of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, Hayden has sparked rumours thst she is going down the “dirty” route like her Hollywood friends.

The influx of celebrity designers in the fashion industry has been a recent phenomenon for the trends the younger generation are wearing on the streets, and there are plenty more to look forward too. Avril Lavigne, Ashlee Simpson, Hayden Panettiere and America Ferrera (among others) are to have their own fashion lines soon as so many teen girls really, really adore them.

Avril Lavigne will partner with Kohl’s to launch “Abbey Dawn, a juniors’ lifestyle brand.” The fashion line will hit stores in July for the back-to-school shopping rush and will be rock-and-roll-inspired. The brand will start with apparel and jewelry and add more products as it rolls out new collections every two months.

Ashlee Simpson has designed a line for Wet Seal, the line will launch the same day her new album Bittersweet World launches.

The collection features designs inspired by Ashlee Simpson’s personality, sense of style and album artwork. Each piece displays Ashlee’s signature touch and will be priced in line with Wet Seal merchandise.

Ashlee Said: “I was inspired by so many fun, wonderful things as I was recording Bittersweet World and it’s been great to carry through those inspirations into these new shirt designs,” She continued. “I hope my fans love this album and rock out in these shirts!”

Nicole Richie has designed a jewelry line consisting of a 50-piece costume-jewelry collection for Mouawad. Heidi Klum has already designed for Mouawad, which is planning to launch the lines this year.

Prices for the Nicole Richie Collection are from $30 to $150, the pieces are sold in stores like Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom. the designs include leather, silk strings, chains, rivets, feathers, and gold-plated metals.

Sounds exciting.

But that not all for Nicole, she has revealed that she will use her recent pregnancy experience to create a range of maternity clothes. Nicole has tried her hand at being a reality TV star, novelist, and jewelry designer, and has also been rumoured to have a children’s line and signature fragrance in works.
