Fern Britton has handed in her notice on ITV’s This Morning, and will leave her much loved presenting job at the end of this series.
The 51-year-old presenter has said that her family and the need to “explore other things” as her reasons for leaving the show.
She’s presented the daytime programme for ten years, six of those have been spent alongside co-host Phillip Schofield.
In a statement, mum-of-four Fern said:
“I have decided to leave the show at the end of the current series. I will present my last show on 17th July, my birthday, which seems somehow appropriate.
“The This Morning team are simply the best and I will miss them all very much but I am looking forward to the freedom of exploring other things I want to do, and also spend more time with my wonderful family.
“So many thank yous to all our viewers who have shown me so much kindness and loyalty,” she ended.
As much as I like Fern, I have to admit this is sensible timing due to ITV cutting her salery because of money issues. Earlier this year ITV said in a statement that This Moring may be taken off the air completely.
But spending time with the family is a much nicer excuse.
Super-curvy Kim Kardashian, has appeared in the latest issue of Complex Magazine looking slimmer, smoother and slightly lighter than she really is.
No one would have noticed that the hour-glass beauty wasn’t actually that perfect, except that Complex Magazine made an error and printed the original (un-edited) photo on their website, which was quickly removed.
