Britney Spears has considered cancelling her new Circus tour after receiving death threats.

Britney has become very worried that the lives of her sons, Sean Preston aged three, and two-year-old Jayden James could be in danger following the threatening messages.

“Britney received some anonymous death threats over the phone and in the mail, and her worst fear is a kidnap plot against Sean or Jayden. She’s been having terrible nightmares ever since then and she wakes up in the middle of the night crying out for her boys,” a source said.

“She told her head of security and he thinks it’s a lone stalker. Her paranoia has reached fever pitch and she’s wracked with fear,” the source added.

The 27-year-old singer is said to be upset after she was criticised for not singing live during recent performances, and making some very dirty comments to the audience during one of her concerts in Tampa.

Britney’s family are concerned for her health after rumours that behind the scenes of one of her recent concerts, she cracked up and shouted, ‘I can’t do this any more, why are you all torturing me?’ Then she ran out of the room crying.

Filed under: Celebrity, Music, News, Video — Jess February 5, 2009 @ 9:34 pm

Joaquin Phoenix gives Hollywood a Gangsta Goodbye

Successfull Hollywood actor, Joaquin Phoenix, has defended himself to press over his move into the rap game.

After a roar of laughter from press after his first attempt at being a rapper, there were many people who just didn’t belive that he was serious and said Joaquin Phoenix was playing a joke on the public.

Joaquin said, “There’s not a hoax. Might I be ridiculous? Might my career in music be laughable? Yeah, that’s possible, but that’s certainly not my intention,”

“I don’t know who said that people were booing … because that was not happening….Unless, of course, it’s a pretty big place, and maybe it was happening. But it was not my experience.”

He continued, “Because I think true hip-hop heads know that it’s hard, it’s going to be a hard transition, and people are going to be lining up just to make fun of me.”

Yes, I think they are!

See Joaquin rap here.

The media and the public are still expecting Joaquin to go back to acting, after the success of Walk The Line, people just find it hard to belive he would waste that trying to be a rapper.

Lady Gaga more style than substance?

Filed under: Celebrity, Fashion - Star Style, Music, Naked celebrities, News, Video — Jess @ 9:16 pm

Lady Gaga onstage with the Starlight Revue

After a good reaction for her debut single, Lady Gaga has already started to branch out into the fashion realm.

She said, “I can’t wait to do my own line. It’s definitely something I want to do in the next year as I do have my own style,”

What Lady Gaga calls ‘her own style’ can be found walking down Camdem High Street (or Kings Cross) in the early hours.

But this slutty New Rave style is very popular this season, and Lady Gaga could see some success if she fronts a high street brand collection.

Lady Gaga

If you haven’t seen Lady Gaga’s debut single, Just Dance, watch it here.

Lady Gaga, real name Joanne Stefani Germanotta, didn’t create her style herself, she was helped by DJ and friend Lady Satrlight - who not only has a very similar style and name has seemed to create Lady Gaga as we know her today.

If you want to dress like a cyber-slut then Lady Gaga’s style may be for you.
