The first thing you need when going on tour is a musician that actually wants to go on tour, this is were Avril Lavigne’s entourage has gone wrong.

Avril has cancelled another gig, this time in Barcelona, saying is was down to truck drivers going on strike and blocking entrance to the country. Truckers my arse, the gig promoter in Barcelona said it was due to the star being “unwilling”.

This is the 10th gig that has been cancelled in the last 2 months.

There are rumours afloat that Avril Lavigne has been drinking heavily on and off tour and that her “throat problems” are a sign.

Things seem to be getting worse.

Many pop stars have ‘problems’ with alcohol, but most don’t cancel gigs because of it, although some really should.

Avril Lavigne has cancelled a show in San Diego last night due to drinking too much. Fans of the singer were disapointed to say the least when they were told Avril won’t be performing due to a hangover, especially since most of her fans aren’t old enough to drink.

Ashlee Simpson has designed a line for Wet Seal, the line will launch the same day her new album Bittersweet World launches.

Nicole Richie has designed a jewelry line consisting of a 50-piece costume-jewelry collection for Mouawad. Heidi Klum has already designed for Mouawad, which is planning to launch the lines this year.

Prices for the Nicole Richie Collection are from $30 to $150, the pieces are sold in stores like Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom. the designs include leather, silk strings, chains, rivets, feathers, and gold-plated metals.

Sounds exciting.

But that not all for Nicole, she has revealed that she will use her recent pregnancy experience to create a range of maternity clothes. Nicole has tried her hand at being a reality TV star, novelist, and jewelry designer, and has also been rumoured to have a children’s line and signature fragrance in works.
