Miley Cyrus’ on-screen big brother, Jason Earles has been defending his co-star to the press. Jason was defending the nude picture scandel and the ‘leaked’ photos from Myspace and the photos from last week’s email scandel.

“I feel like they are picking on her,” Earles told People Magazine, “She’s a really good kid and like any normal 15-year-old, she’s not always going to make the best decisions.

Emmerdale’s longest serving cast member Clive Hornby has died age 63.

Clive played Jack Sugden in ITV1 soap Emmerdale.

Born on 20 October 1944, Hornby was raised in Liverpool. After leaving school, he trained to be an accountant but dropped out to play the drums in ’60s chart band The Dennisons.

The Dennisons had two hit singles - (Come On) Be My Girl and Walkin’ The Dog.

Clive will be missed greatly by fans and collegues alike.

Welsh actor, Rhys Ifans will take over from David Tennant in the role of BBC’s hit show, Doctor Who.

The recent Doctors are taking a nice little journey around the UK, an English Doctor, Christopher Eccleston, a Scottish Doctor, David Tennant and now Welsh Doctor, Rhys Ifans. We’ll see if the BBC head towrds Northan Ireland for the next regeneration.
